Join me to continue, restart or start a creative practice in a non-judgmental space while you work alongside others. The emphasis is on building a creative/internal practice, celebrating the joy of creating, community and finding inspiration.
In-person at the Native, I invite everyday folks to join me in creating and I also provide sensory and art materials for the free creation of anything one pleases.
I hold a free raffle for an art minded prize towards the end of the evening as well in the spirit of making art accessible to all who wish to enjoy it! It started with me inviting people to bring their own project but I also supply materials for anyone that didn't come with a project.
I started Adult Study Hall in October 2019 at The Native in Chicago, IL with the intention to create a kind creative co-working space in public that is welcome to creators and non-creators alike. I continued to run A.S.H. online through quarantine ​and then again in person at The Native after it was safe to see each other in person again. Since then I've hosted many in person nights and I've also helped to fundraise for Hope for the Day, the ACLU, El Arbol Mutual Aid group and I look forward to partnering with more local nonprofits in the future!
